Wow!!! It is already May!!!!!! Anyway, I just wrapped up a few days at C.I. with nine children ages four through seven. How should I say this, I was the leader of the "Dosi" team......a team where every child was challenging, the most was a mental challenged child who ran off at every chance she got. And to add on that, I had four other children that were challenging. =) THANKFULLY, I had the BEST assistant!!!! She was totally awesome. The L-rd really knew what He was doing when He put us together. She would just look at what was going on and she would start helping.....she is a sweet godly young woman. I hope I get to work with her in the future. =)

Well, I want to tell you what my week was like, so here it goes!

Tuesday: I found out that I was the team leader of "J" team and that I had a WONDERFUL assistant.

Wednesday: We had a horrible day with the kids because I had no idea what kind of kids that I was dealing with. (I didn't understand what was wrong with the kids until someone told me.) So during the nap time, I burst into tears because no matter how hard I tried to get two kids quiet, they wouldn't. During the time that I was crying, one of the head staff people walked in and said, "Ah, oh, we have got a problem!"

They had a special meeting and they decided to take the gal on a "Wisdom Walk" for awhile....which did help, but I had FOUR more little boys acting up.

Thursday: I had a second assistant placed on my team, and the morning went so well! But after lunch, my second assistant left for some reason that I really don't know about and the afternoon went on a nose dive. So, it was not such a good day.....let's just say, one staff guy came into my room and asked, "Would you like some chocolate?" He was sooo sweet =D

Friday: THIS WAS THE BEST DAY OF THE WHOLE WEEK!! A wonderful young man volunteered to help in C.I. and they let him help with my team. He was great with the little boys and he kept them quite busy. It was a blessing from the L-rd. Even though I was kicked, scratched, and barely came away with my sanity, I learned many things from the little kids that were challenging. I learned that if I looked at the kids as if they were Jesus, and how would I treat Jesus, I found that I wasn't getting mad at them anymore.

I think I may even want to do C.I. next year!!

Anyway, I want to head to bed now....

Today at church was really awesome. The sermon was on Mark chapter two. I was not expecting this but a deaf boy came to church today and I had to interpret for him. I haven't really been practicing, so I was really, really rusty at it.

Anyway, this afternoon I went to drop off some items for my brother at the ALERT Academy....then did some other things on campus. Boy, do we have a busy week coming up with the ATI Conference! If everything works out, I should be a leader in CI!!!! A few days with nine little children!!! What joy!!! -smile-

Well, anyway I hope this entry wasn't as boring as the last one =)

Blessings and Have a wonderful day!

Well, I am not sure that creating a blog is really worth it all.....all I wanted to do was comment on my brother's blog, and what do I know! I have to have a blog to comment on his blog.....rats.....hard work. I have to remember all kinds of new stuff now.

Anyway, for those who are probably bored to pieces because of my boring sentence above, CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You now get to the best part of all!!!

I am signing out for today! =)
